Sending prayers for Metmom and her hubby!
I live it. Spent 20 hours in the past 36 dealing with it and will take the rest of the week to even come close to getting it done.
Wow. I don’t know how you do it. Honestly.
It’s pretty for the first few hours, but then it slowly turns to hell on earth.
But I’ve got hell down here in the south with tornadoes, so there’s no perfect place that I’m aware of. :-(
Joining in Prayer for a quck rememdy to this problem.
MetMom, prayers that you will soon see remedies made
possible. No electricity, meaning no heat is one thing;
meaning no connection to the WWW could be just as frustrating.
Praying you and your neighbors see the light tonight.
God Bless.
Amen!
(Beautiful prayer, Kartographer.)
Prayers sent for Metmom, her family, and all her neighbors caught in that dangerous storm. Hope she can find warmth and comfort and returns soon!
I’ve been in the snow conditioning and removal business most of my life. Just like me it’s starting to get a little old. The trade off is having to move somewhere more hospitable and that means closer to the madding crowd. The crappy weather here keeps most of the riff raff at bay.
Got it!
Thank you, and God bless you, Del!
Lord we pray for MetMom and her husband, for health, for help during this winter storm, that she her power and heat return soon! Amen!
prayers sparking up for Metmom and Hubby.
Wait until ‘power’ comes under FULL ASSAULT!
Then folks are gonna be really grumpy!
AMEN!
maybe they are not lying on the ground but acting like an electric clothesline.
YIKES!!
power to the house is going to be 220V max.
the wires should be insulated anyway
rubber tires pushing them into ground is not going to hurt anyone in the car as long as you merely roll over them
do NOT!! do this with any other types of wires!!!
any wires in street are EXTREMELY dangerous!
and they are NOT insulated!!
for how long?
Utility company saw them today and returns tomorrow. Hopefully, they will get the line up and make things right again, Elsie.
P.S. I’ve not heard from her since late this afternoon. She was able to respond to text but I think she’s lost that ability now. I know they have a wood burning stove and I think they have a generator. (Hate to say something and then be wrong about it.)
Prayers here, too
