UPDATE: Metmom just texted that the power company was out today to evaluate the situation. They said they are coming back tomorrow.

Dear Lord, please send your Holy Spirit’s influence down upon all of the people working to get the power lines and snow cleared and guide their hearts, minds and hands to get this done as efficiently and effectively as possible.Amen to that! So many crews are deployed and working in extremely harsh and dangerous conditions. May they be kept safe in their tireless endeavors.
We had a MASSIVE wind storm blow through yesterday and about 90% of our entire town of 25,000 on the San Francisco Peninsula has no power. PG&E is projecting restoration for some areas on Friday and maybe even Saturday. Trees and huge branches are down everywhere.
Fortunately, we are between storms and it is warming up (60 - 65 next few days), so nobody is in mortal danger.

Lots of that going on around here. Some people will be a week or more without power. 42” of heavy wet snow. Many many homes without access due to 6’ to 8’ snowbanks across their driveways and buried driveways that normal snow removal equipment just can’t deal with. Keep the faith.
