Hello, everyone. This post is for Metmom who cannot post at this time due to the snow and winds having toppled a pole with power transformer near her driveway. She and husband cannot get off their property due to the lines being across their driveway.
Her internet is down, to boot, of course.
There is a widespread power outage in her area, and there's no idea how long it's going to take to get things going.
Metmom is asking for a quick fix to this problem, as we can all understand.
It's ok for a while, then it gets to where your needs are not being met. I know this first hand, along with anyone else reading this thread. It's a double whammy when you have health issues like Metmom.
Please pray that God intervene and help to get things up and running for her soon.

I’ve been incognito lately due to a move and work - had no idea metmom was going through this.
Prayers for her and her husband-safety, warmth, love, protection, recovery, safety the whole nine yards.
Dear Lord please be there for them and keep them protected, safe, and healthy.

Unless I’m mistaken can’t they safely drive over the wires? The tires are rubber and the metal body of the car should act as a Faraday cage even if the wire touches the frame.

Father, we pray for our FRiend metmom in her hour of need, that all things will be set right according to Your plan for her. Give her faith, calm assurance of Your Presence, and peace as events unfold and her restoration is completed.

PS I am not an electrician and have no idea if driving over power lines is safe, nor do I recommend it.

I saw a tragic video a few years ago where someone drove over downed power lines and became crispy in about 45 seconds. The irony was that this person worked for the power company.

Heavenly Father, I humble ask you to place your hand of protection and support upon our dear friend and your faithful Daughter Metmom during her difficult situation cause by the dangerous weather presently besieging her home and family. We ask that you would wrap your love hands around our sister and provide her refuge from the tempest. She is a good Daughter in Christ yet as all such at times she would welcome your strength and you present to help her spirit this time of difficulty. We ask that you speak to her heart assuring her that your hand shields the faithful, your love never fails, and your power knows no boundaries. Amen and AMEN!
