A notoriously liberal Catholic church in New York has sparked a backlash with a 'God is Trans' art exhibit.
The Church of St. Paul the Apostle in Manhattan is displaying a show called 'God is Trans: A Queer Spiritual Journey.'
The exhibit has raised some eyebrows among its Roman Catholic parishioners, with some balking at the words 'there is no devil; just past selves.'
It is the creation of artist Adah Unachukwu, which attempts to show how faith and gender identity intersect.
It features somewhat abstract colorful paintings which appear to show where the personal meet the spiritual, with videos of the artist among more traditional holy imagery.
'God is Trans maps the queer spiritual journey by three significant points: Sacrifice, Identity and Communion,' the piece begins.
'The painting Sacrifice and its complementary act in the film speak to the need to shed an old life and personhood in order to be able to focus on your spiritual need. There is no devil, just past selves.'
'Identity is the most impactful part of the exhibition,' the display states. 'What does holiness look like? What does your god look like? Are those two portrayals that can be merged?'

I suppose faith in *something or other* can intersect with tranny identity.
But it isn’t faith in GOD through Christ.
You can be Christian or you can be woke, but not both.

There will always be those that reject God. God lets them choose to do so away from him and those who choose to follow God.
Those who reject God and are cast out then create their own hell wherever they go, much like liberals do to inner cities. We refer to this as hell.
As long as these ... persons ... have not blasphemed the Holy Spirit there may still be some that will be what Paul called the “such were some of you” and will be redeemed despite who they are and what they are doing now.
But the majority of them are likely proverbial spam.

Faith/religion serves as the foundation of one’s value system. It’s a rock. It doesn’t intersect. Values, principles, and most importantly, behavior are derived from religious beliefs. This is the number one difference between leftists and Christian conservatives. We believe in something bigger than ourselves - God. They think they can figure life out on their own or government will do it for them.
If you just take an atheistic naturalistic point of view admitting there is at your biological design represented by your DNA and that design sets a binary human design of males and females. Add to that there is no DNA reason for anyone thinking their body expresses the “wrong” sex. Therefore, even as an atheist, believing your body is the “wrong” sex does not represent something wrong with your body; the problem is in your mind and there is no DNA reson for that erroneous idea. It is an errant obsession the individual has entertained, allowed to get a hold on them and failed to eliminate. Why should any mental problem be celebrated as a “good”? Compassion and sympathy towwards it, yes, but celebrated, no.
That doesn’t surprise me at all.

Churches like this will be the first through the gates of Hell.
To them: REPENT OR DIE. The Outer Darkness awaits.
The true and final DEATH is to be separated from GOD.
They willingly choose that fate be rejecting GOD.
HE will oblige and cast them away to the place where they have chosen to be.
