“It is the sacred duty of the Church and Her ministers to reach out to those on the periphery “
One of Bergoglio’s greatest absurdities is the notion that the LGBT crowd are “on the periphery.” Uh, hello, Jorge. It’s 2023. The LGBTs aren’t on the periphery. They’re front and center and in our faces everywhere, all the time.
For a modernist, Bergoglio strangely lives in the past. It’s permanently 1968 for the man.
There’s a wonderful organization associated with the the Catholic Church called Courage founded by the late Fr. John Harvey. They help Catholics of the homosexual orientation live according to the Church’s teachings. They should be receiving warm regards from the pope.
When I read what this pope says in his official speeches it seems orthodox to me. But then he makes all these warm gestures to practical if not always formal dissenters. Does he believe what he reads or is he just reading it? How much of it does he write and how much of it is written for him? More and more I wonder about the dichotomy. He says gender theory is a horrible attack on the Creator, he says so-called gay marriage in no way can be compared to an actual marriage, but then you get this stuff. He says abortion is “Nazi stuff” but then the Pontifical Academy For Life keeps making strange, heterodox, Gnostic statements.
