Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Republican Attorney General Tim Griffin said they plan to appeal the ruling to the Eighth Circuit
A federal judge on Tuesday ruled an Arkansas law that bans hormone treatment, puberty blockers or surgery for transgender minors is unconstitutional.
U.S. District Judge Jay Moody said that the first-in-the-nation law violated the due process and equal protection rights of transgender youth and their families and it violated the First Amendment rights of health care providers by prohibiting them from referring patients elsewhere.
"Rather than protecting children or safeguarding medical ethics, the evidence showed that the prohibited medical care improves the mental health and well-being of patients and that, by prohibiting it, the state undermined the interests it claims to be advancing," Moody wrote.
Republican Attorney General Tim Griffin said he was "disappointed" in the ruling and plans to appeal it to the Eight Circuit.
I am disappointed in the decision that prevents our state from protecting our children against dangerous medical experimentation under the moniker of ‘gender transition,’" he wrote in a statement. "Unfortunately, Judge Moody misses what is widely understood across the United States and in the United Kingdom and European countries: There is no scientific evidence that any child will benefit from these procedures, while the consequences are harmful and often permanent. I will continue fighting as long as it takes to stop providers from sterilizing children."

There is no such thing as a “transgender.” These people are transvestites pretending to be what they are not. They need psychological care, not sexual mutilation. Nor does any court have the power to dictate to society that it must accept the madness of “transgenderism.”
Scientific evidence? THEY ARE MINORS ! They have nothing to say yet demonic people who will make a dollar will prey upon children. Any that do this in any form should be given the death penalty...save God our Father some time and effort. This is beyond horrific .
So a judge is saying that a law Banning these procedures is unconstitutional.
So this means that there is a constitutional right to transgender surgeries and cross sex hormones and God knows what else? It is a violation of constitutional rights to NOT do these procedures? It is required that these procedures be performed?
This insanity will not end until we man (and women) the pitchforks!!

Just revoke the license of any professional engaged in this activity and move the. Court to an old fema trailer in the parking lot with porta potties out front for the judges and staff
It’s going to take a string of law suits by people who were mutilated as minors against everyone involved to stop this madness. Obama judges are really going scorched earth now.

The left has planned this for some time. That much is obvious. In almost every state in which they have passed laws to stop the deliberate harm to children, the left has been immediately filing lawsuits arguing that children have constitutional rights to harm themselves with the encouragement of physicians. Georgia’s law goes into effect next week, and I expect the lawsuits to be filed Monday morning arguing that such laws are un-constitutional.
I believe in every case thus far, the court’s have ruled the children have this sudden constitutional right to decide their own medical “treatment” and harm themselves if that is their wishes. All on junk science which many physicians state is harmful (as does any thinking person). The courts are ignoring all evidence showing the damage caused to these children. And, the parents are on the hook for the costs and turmoil that is certainly to follow.
Why can children not get tattoos or ear-piercings without a parent’s permission until a certain age? Why cannot students take a Tylenol at school when they have a headache? Why can’t minors drive, enter into a contract, or vote? Drink alcohol or smoke? Why can’t they own firearms? (A Second Amendment attorney should file a lawsuit using the left’s own reasoning to argue that their twelve year old client has a Constitutional right to carry a firearm).
There are certainly safety nets and laws our society has put in place to keep children from making bad choices. For it has been long known that a person’s decision-making processes are not fully developed until a certain age. For some decisions we have set the age at 18 and for some at 21. Why is the most horrible of life-changing decisions now suddenly left to a child and physicians with an agenda?
It’s my hope that once the lawsuits start falling that judges making these rulings are sued personally for the harm caused. Yes, sovereign immunity defense will likely win out in the end, but they should suffer through the pain of going through the process and hopefully at some point the voices of those harmed will be loud enough to stop this madness.
