While I despise the Russians, are they really the bad guys here?? Seriously, I really don’t know. As I see it, both sides aren’t worth saving and we, the US, aren’t any better goading it on.

That being said, Ezekiel 38 will definitely come.
The USA will be taken out, probably within hours. David Wilkerson's book "The Vision" foretold of a sudden natural disaster that would hit the middle part of the United States, if memory serves.
I would go further than that. I am under the belief that the San Andreas fault, the Cascadia fault, the New Madrid and the East Coast faults all go at the same time and basically the USA is almost totally obliterated.
I know that scenario doesn't give anyone warm fuzzies, and I shudder to even think of something like that happening, but the cup of God's Wrath against this nation has got to be at a tipping point and natural disasters have always been a method of judgment in the past, and I believe this aligns with scripture in Revelation 6:12-17 though it could certainly come much sooner.
As for Gog/Magog and the war with Russia/Islam, if, and I say if, Psalm 83 is indeed a regional war with islamic-backed nations around Israel, then after that conflict takes place and Israel makes significant gains of their lands, then the whole Gog/Magog war takes on a new light. After both of those conflicts are won by God, and Russia/Islam is destroyed, then the vacuum left will certainly be filled by the anti-christ.
