Hebrew Media Claims Christians Brought Red Heifer to Israel to Establish Antichrist
Israel 365 News ^ | 8/4/23 | Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz

Channel 12, a Hebrew-language news site, published an article on Sunday accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of allocating resources to a project aimed at building a third temple on the Temple Mount. The article blames Christians for bringing red heifers to Israel.

The Channel 12 article cites a project by Boneh Israel, an organization that brings together Jews and Christians. In cooperation with the Temple Institute, Boneh Israel successfully imported five red calves in September to Israel from Texas for the purpose of raising them for the Biblical commandment.

The red heifer was the main component in the Biblically mandated process of ritual purification for impurity that results from proximity or contact with a dead body. Because the elements needed for this ceremony have been lacking since the destruction of the Second Temple, all Jews today are considered ritually impure, thereby preventing the return of the Temple service.

The article noted that the Temple Institutes was founded by Rabbi Yisrael Ariel who was a former member of the right-wing Kach party which was declared illegal by the Israeli government. The article claimed that Rabbi Ariel is the “spiritual patron” of the Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir.

Even if the third temple was built, without genealogical tables, destroyed when the second temple was, could anyone prove he was a Levite, or could there be a priesthood?

Supposedly anyone with the last name “Cohen” is descended from the priestly class. They did that so they would know who was eligible to serve in the temple whenever it was rebuilt. Wouldn’t surprise me if Jewish people have been keeping some VERY good records these past two millennia.

Records were kept in families and priestly cities apart from the Temple, as priests served in rotation. Also, many exiled Jews in Babylonia never returned in the Second Temple era, and it’s known they had many detailed records about Levite and Cohen families (as well as Davidic families). Priestly DNA is also known.

That's good, because as every "Christian" knows, salvation is through lineage and DNA, not faith in Christ. /sarc

This brings up an interesting point especially re the Davidic line. Even if the entire lineage of every son had been perfectly preserved in medical vaults over thousands of years...

... so that nobody even had to question if milkmen or innocent errors had slipped into the recorded genealogies...

...of all of Jesse's sons, only David was the one. And of all of David's sons, Solomon was the one. And so forth.

Ergo, to be 100% certain, the proof paradigm would need to run on a whole other track entirely, so that nobody will be able to doubt. HR (Haman Resources) departments, wacked right out of the decision-making process. Those folks live to use their 'rejected' stamps. Wouldn't want to hire the wrong guy!!!

Just because people can't conceive how this might work, doesn't mean there isn't a way -- a better way, a simple way, outside of the competing religious systems and their "eagle-eyed" HR departments.

Be funny if it were something really basic, such as

David is the son of Jesse, and
the Messiah is the son of David.

Even little kids know that much.

Just depends where the information's been stored.

The first chapter of Matthew and third chapter of Luke.

Genealogical tables even for non-priestly families were not wiped out.

How would those accounts help with genealogies after the destruction of Jerusalem?

I am sorry. For some reason I was thinking First Temple not Second. You are right. Totally irrelevant.

However they did keep still keep records even after the destruction of the Second Temple.

“Cohen families”
…………

Not to be confused with Cohan, which is Irish. For some reason, George M Cohan popped into my thoughts singing Yankee Doodle Dandy…

Many of the records were destroyed by subsequent purges. I red a book that stated the theory that the antiChrist while it is believed he can come. In short, the Bible is gone from society and relegated to small remnants.

Yep. Names like Cohen (or similar) don’t always mean Hebrew priest. Other names like Katz (presumably Cohen tzaddik) might refer to Katzenellenbogen, a town in the Rhineland. The name Levy isn’t clearcut either. There has to be a distinct tradition from ancestors about being Cohen or Levi.
