I have my issues with Opus Dei, but this woman writes from the heart and when this far from complete list is placed in such a concentrated manner, it becomes clear that the ordinary solicitude and presumption of good will ordinarily owed especially to a Pope has been forfeited many times over.

I think, at least for awhile, the higher-ups in Opus Dei were bowing and scraping to +Francis at every opportunity. Lot of good it did them -- the crocodile ate them anyway!

For people who are unfamiliar with Opus Dei, the whole point of the organization is to cultivate a robust Catholic lay spirituality. Removing the supernumeraries is practically destroying the whole purpose of the organization.

And to say that Mary "wasn't born a saint, but became a saint" sounds like heresy to my ears.
