I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (Hebrews 12:1-3)
JESUS IS THE SWEETEST NAME I KNOW - Alvin Martinez - with Lyrics
Heavenly Father, You already knew I would awaken this morning with the song “Jesus is The Sweetest Name I Know” on my heart and would be led to share with fellow Freepers. Oh, how the mundane, catastrophic, and also evil things of the world distract us from focusing on Your Son Jesus. So many are oblivious to the Scriptures that explain exactly what a life with and without Jesus means. He is Lord and only His Name leads one to Salvation.
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:10-11)
His grace, His mercy, His offer of eternal life is a gift for “whoever” believes. (John 11.26)
Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelation 10:15)
We pray, Heavenly Father, for righteous minded leaders not only in government but in the Church. We pray for justice for those who have been and are currently wrongly maligned for their patriotism and spiritual beliefs.
Soon we will be observing Veteran’s Day . . . remembering and thankful for those who were (and are) willing to sacrifice their lives for our freedom. We pray for our standing military and national guard’s protection and their families. Please send a Holy Spirit revival within the ranks.
We pray for Your most-favored nation, Israel and ask special blessings and protection on her leaders and people. Our country has gone off the rails in its support. Evil has pervaded many of the minds of our people, including the young. We ask that You stop the insanity of the enemy in its desire to destroy her.
Please unveil the truth regarding pharma’s and world leaders’ intentions for control.
We come against in the Name of Jesus the malevolence in our nation . . .addiction, murder, rape, sex-trafficking, cheating, lies, stealing, child abuse, indoctrination of adults and children, covertness, blasphemy. . .the list goes on. We pray the church will once again be Your Church. . .Lord, revive us again!
Please continue to heal and strengthen our Free Republic leader, Jim Robinson. He has been such a faithful warrior over the years.
Holy Spirit, please guide us as we fulfill the song, “Let Others See Jesus in You . . .keep telling the story, be faithful and true.” Please keep those Divine Appointments coming and help us in our testimony in word and deed. In Jesus, Name, Amen.
PS. Fellow Freepers, please pray for my church as we seek a pastor. God already knows who he is . . . pray that we heed His direction. Thanks!
Is “Jesus” really “the sweetest name” you know? If yes, why? Could you tell someone else why? Do you ever tell anyone else why? If Jesus is not “the sweetest” name to you, does that bother you? Have you ever thought about it? Do you know why there are things more precious to you than Him?
If our lips say one thing, but how we live our life says another… guess which one counts? Do you study, search, meditate and long to know more about Jesus so that His Name will become more and more sweet to you as you get one step closer every day to meeting Him face to face? James 1:22 – But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

BUT… there will come a time when the Name of Christ WILL be forced on every person who did not embrace it willingly during their earthly life, not as a gift, but as a reality. And every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. To those who reject the name of Jesus in this life, far from being “sweet”, the name of Christ will be terrorizing, agonizing, foreboding and torturous… for it will represent the Name at which a lost chance of Salvation will be forever gone and a justified eternal condemnation will be imminent. Hell will be an unavoidable and single step away… and the name of Jesus will be the last name uttered before being cast into the Lake of Fire for all eternity. Source: Brent Riggs (Serious Faith)

Every person entering hell will fully realize their only hope was in Jesus Christ. And even as they call out His name, begging for another “chance”, it will be too late. Source: Brent Riggs (Serious Faith)
Lord, we know evil has already been defeated, yet in our land it runs unfettered because it is coming to its fullness under Your Judgment and soon we will look around in wonder since You will have taken it away. Please Lord, help Your own to persevere. Let us not be worn out but uplifted by the Holy Spirit. Strengthen us that we might wait patiently on the Lord. In His name, amen.
Amen, Maudeen

Dear Lord, we beseech Thee to purge the monstrous Satanic evil that has seized control of our institutions and government ! Bring these evil individuals to justice ! Strike down these wicked individuals and institutions that blatantly and audaciously lie to the public about their true (evil) intentions while painting good people as the real enemy !
Do not let these servants of darkness prevail over Your children ! Send forth Your angels to liberate us, oh, Lord ! Hear our cries and help us, please, dear Lord !

Psalm 10
1 Why, O Lord, do you stand far off?
Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
2 In arrogance the wicked persecute the poor—
let them be caught in the schemes they have devised.
3 For the wicked boast of the desires of their heart,
those greedy for gain curse and renounce the Lord.
4 In the pride of their countenance the wicked say, ‘God will not seek it out’;
all their thoughts are, ‘There is no God.’
5 Their ways prosper at all times;
your judgements are on high, out of their sight;
as for their foes, they scoff at them.
6 They think in their heart, ‘We shall not be moved;
throughout all generations we shall not meet adversity.’
7 Their mouths are filled with cursing and deceit and oppression;
under their tongues are mischief and iniquity.
8 They sit in ambush in the villages;
in hiding-places they murder the innocent.
Their eyes stealthily watch for the helpless;
9 they lurk in secret like a lion in its covert;
they lurk that they may seize the poor;
they seize the poor and drag them off in their net.
10 They stoop, they crouch,
and the helpless fall by their might.
11 They think in their heart, ‘God has forgotten,
he has hidden his face, he will never see it.’
12 Rise up, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand;
do not forget the oppressed.
13 Why do the wicked renounce God,
and say in their hearts, ‘You will not call us to account’?
14 But you do see! Indeed you note trouble and grief,
that you may take it into your hands;
the helpless commit themselves to you;
you have been the helper of the orphan.
15 Break the arm of the wicked and evildoers;
seek out their wickedness until you find none.
16 The Lord is king for ever and ever;
the nations shall perish from his land.
17 O Lord, you will hear the desire of the meek;
you will strengthen their heart, you will incline your ear
18 to do justice for the orphan and the oppressed,
so that those from earth may strike terror no more.*
Amen
Amen and thank you.
Amen
