This is not a political disagreement. It is evil incarnate. Evil must be recognized for what it is and eradicated. Every leader, soldier, and financial supporter of Hamas should be identified, hunted down, and executed. Every apologist and sympathizer for Hamas should be ashamed, publicly denounced, and removed from any position of government power and influence. This is what is right. It is what is just and necessary to protect the citizens of Israel, both Jews and Arabs.
Two people groups are at war in the Middle East. The conflict is longstanding and complicated by multiple generations, and centuries, of political, social, and religious history. Grievances are claimed by both sides. Arguments are made for the righteousness of each one’s cause and for the injustice of the other.

We must be careful as evil enters and attaches to people regardless of race and/or political affiliation.
We must be careful to not become that which we dislike.
To stop the evil committed by Islam, we must move up the ladder to the source. At a minimum, the command and control centers and leaders must be identified and destroyed.
Killing footsoldiers will not make a dent in this enemy. Hamas is just one tooth of this shark. Destroy it and another will take its place.
And, at the same time, there needs to be a public campaign to bring the evils of Islam into public consciousness. At present, Islam and its evil nature are not even close to the Overton Window. When college campuses are protesting in favor of Hamas and when politicians declare that the Hamas attack on Israel was Israel's fault, we've got a problem that is greater--by an order of magnitude--than just Hamas.

It is hard to fight a war against a savagely cruel enemy without becoming savagely cruel. But somehow it must be done. Otherwise, we become infected with the enemy's evil and, in a counterintuitive way, basically become one with the enemy and lose the war.

And when the Left screams that Christians hate homosexuals, we will have to stand up and say, "Not at all. We love homosexuals...we just want to encourage them to exchange their nasty lifestyles for something infinitely better."
Homosexuals are welcome in our churches and communities. We love them because they are our sons and daughters and neighbors...and Christianity is a religion of love.
Ultimately though, if homosexuals don't want to change, we still love them and pray for them. It's a free country after all.
Just because we disagree with their behavior doesn't mean that we hate them.
Muslims on the other hand believe in hating and killing anyone who disagrees with them.
Islam must go.
And if the ideology of people on the Left teaches hatred of people from any other ideology or religion (like conservatives, or Christians, or Jews)...it, too, has to go.
While I see your point and agree, the flaw there is that the left is convinced and absolutely insists despite what we say, that WE are the haters because we oppose homosexuality.
Somehow the images of muslims throwing homosexuals off roofs of building escapes their attention as *hate*.
By pushing this issue into a public debate we can (and must) define hate not as opposition to behavior or ideology, but as something directed toward people.
People on the Left are understandably confused about Christianity because they don't know anything about it.
In fact, explaining the true nature of Christianity in a public forum is a great way to bring people to the "real" faith.
That said, we all know people who are Christians-in-name-only who DO demonstrate hatred toward other people. It must be made clear that this is NOT Christianity.

It's hard to get rid of Ishtar. She/he is a very slippery demon.
There is pure evil, and then there are those who become misguided and recruited by the pure evil.
Jesus spoke of demonic spirits, these were pure evil. He also spoke of unclean spirits, these were the misguided spirits that were led astray.
When I’m doing spirit release and exorcism work it is important to differentiate the two.

It might be easier to focus on the actual acts of violence that some religions participate in and Jesus’ teaching of loving our enemies, as found in Matthew 5-7.
