So many people ask, “How in the world could this be happening? It is so crazy!” And they are correct.
But the bible has been foretelling world events for thousands of years so it makes sense that perhaps it may have insight into what is going on today. A year or so ago, a good friend of mine who owns TheLibertyDaily.com sent me this chapter to read and everything made sense. Here are my thoughts on this chapter and the passage is below the video:

II Thess Chapter 2
The Man of Lawlessness
2 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, 10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
Stand Firm 13 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits[b] to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings[c] we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.
16 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17 encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.
Actually I have read that.
Excellent chapter. I’ve excerpted it here a number of times. It does explain a lot.
This Chapter in the Bible That You’ve Probably Not Read Explains Everything Happening Today
If it's in the Bible, trust me, I've read it a bunch of times. (At least once/year since at least 2000.)
2 Thessalonians 2
Heh 😇😇😇
Meanwhile, millions of people are living lives that are substantially less than their potential. This fragile and special gift of life is so short, yet distractions like drugs and sex become so consuming that the real joy of living is unrealized.
I can only imagine that God's grief is massive.
“Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back....”
Has nothing to do with today’s world. Notice, why would Paul insist on telling people things that would happen 2,000 years later, as if he knew.
“Holding” Present participle, happening when Paul wrote.

Seriously? The Bible has lots of prophecies about the end times that haven’t happened yet. Of course, some people don’t believe the Bible is true. But that doesn’t make it untrue.
Maranatha!
A good Shepherd is coming.
In Christ I fear nothing of this world.
🛐🙏✝️
You are evading my point. That is not one of the prophecies of the end endtimes. Paul spoke to his church, warning them, and using the present tense for the man of sin, etc.
And it is retarded to accuse someone of not believing the Bible just because he sees it differently than you.
There will be a lot of shocked 😳😳😳 people when these things really get going.
All those hoping for a “two-state solution” are going to be surprised as to what 7 years of ‘Peace and Security’ ACTUALLY brings.
And there will be no stopping it all the way to Armageddon. Once the ball is rolling, it’s on like Donkey Kong.
But it’s as in the Days of Noah (as you said).
Isaiah 43:1-7
I have called you by name; you are Mine!
1 Peter 4:12-13
New King James Version
12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

It is both for the end times and for the early church. They were frequently being bothered by false messiahs. But it also foretells the end times situation. Naturally, you are entitled to your opinion, as am I; I just don’t happen to think you’re right.

I read and quote that chapter often, especially from the 1599 Geneva bible.
