Frank Turek debates an atheist on whether or not the Gospels were written by the disciples. The atheist claims that they were not and believes he has ample evidence to prove his point but Frank Turek demonstrates that everything the atheist claims his misinformation. This debate comes to a head as the kid refuses to accept defeat, as Frank employs the very thing the kid was claiming to dismiss!

I love me some Frank.
In this case, it is satisfying to see this kid start to lose confidence.
He starts out by presenting his position as eloquently as a PhD candidate and, by the end, is mumbling and rambling like a HS freshman who has forgotten to do his homework.
You can’t fix stupid
With respect to himself this kid can’t see the forest for the trees. He’s constructed a faith of disbelief using suppositions and half baked facts.
Reminds me of a book I started reading for Advent: “The First Christmas”. I stopped reading after the authors tried to prove the birth narratives were “Not facts, but still true”.
Total agreement with you regarding Frank Turek. First a word about “apologetics”. The word drives me crazy because many (most?) Christians hear the word and say or think “why are you apologizing for your faith?”. But the word in Greek is “apologia”, meaning a defense of the faith. This is the word in 1 Peter 3:15 that says “always be ready with a defense (apologia) for the hope that is within you ... “ As apologists, we are defending the faith, not apologizing for it.
Back to Frank Turek, he and Norm Geisler (now deceased) wrote a book that I consider the text for Christian apologetics 101. It has the incredible title, “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist”. Each chapter covers a different topic about the faith such as cosmology, fine-tuned universe, evolution vs. creation, Bible accuracy, evidence for the resurrection and many others. It is easy reading and enjoyable if you don’t mind having your atheism challenged. It runs about $16 on amazon. Highly recommended.
Praying for that young man. He could be a budding Lee Stroebel. The Holy Spirit can work wonders!
Could use more on Quora.com. I usually tell them as here, by the grace of God.

This was pretty funny.
But one CAN fix ignorance.
AMEN!
We know that many books of the NT were dictated by the authors to an amanuensis (secretary) who actually put pen to paper so the argument that these authors wouldn’t know how to write in Greek is totally bogus.
