This was an in your face FU to Christians disguised as an “inclusive” ad. The millions it cost could have fed a lot of struggling families
Matthew 25: 40-45
Pretty clear.
They spent millions on a commercial just to make Christians look bad. I understand the foot washing part but outside of the context it comes off as creepy.
I had been wondering if these ads were from Sojourners, the ultra-left wing of the “evangelical” Christians. Turns out there is a connection.

Jesus went to synagogue all of His life. The Torah is His Living Word. The Torah clearly spells out the abominations that the modern day heretical churches are calling love. Love is love is a theme for the apostate church to cling to so they can affirm sin as natural and part of being a Christian instead of teaching the abhorrence of sin. Jesus clearly would be labeled a hater if they asked Him His view on homosexuality and other issues of today. Jesus washing feet was to demonstrate the humble act of being a servant to sinful mankind to point them to the salvation of the Living God. He never once promoted sinful lifestyles. Yo have to crack open a Bible to understand Jesus. You have to start with Genesis and end with The Revelation. If you want to understand Jesus you cannot leave out the teachings of the Torah.
Raises an interesting question.
What if Mother Mary had decided to have an abortion?
Could Jesus still claim that he died for all our sins?
Pragmatically, most Messiahs would choose a drug induced early term abortion before choosing a flogging and a six hour Crucifixion.
I thought that commercial was an oddball one (like so very many ones nowadays) for toe foot fungus relief of some sort, until the very end.
Those ads were all over like crap on YouTube months ago.
Libelous insinuation that Christians "teach hate."
[...] He Washed Feet.”
Yeah, that's really all that Jesus did. That was really the essence of His mission here on Earth: To wash feet.
Not to instruct (also by example). Not to heal the sick, etc. To wash feet.
Commercial is basically telling Christians to shut up about codes of conduct and limit themselves to foot care.
Regards,
Change it to Yahweh or Allah Gets Us and run the same add.
Shows that even most of those that say they are “disgusted” by such behavior really are not. If they were, tens of millions less viewers would have tuned in. I haven’t watched it in 30 years and don’t miss it at all.
Sounds a lot like the Jesuits, Jorge Bergoglio and Jimmy Martin.
Affirming the behaviors? No. Affirming that He loves them, the sinners He died to redeem, if they repent and accept Him.
