this article is an example of really stupid people thinking out loud.

The freemason’s have not had much influence since WWII.

The Bush Elder and Bush younger had exactly the wasp background of the original freemason.

Neither joined the freemason.

Free masonry was and is a civic organization like the elks club or lions club or the VFW club. what distinguised it was that powerful members of the old wasp establishment joined it.

But powerful people have not joined the freemason for many decades or so.

Yes freemasonry symbols can be found around washington dc. But so are christian symbols and references to God.

And yes,in the 18th century the USA was considered to be the New Jerusalem. You can hear echos of that in Ronald Reagan “shining city on a hill speech.”

However, there’s not much of God or Christianity or freemasonry in today’s federal government.

Yes! The Shriners have those funny hats and they can sneak into all sorts of places that the Masons can’t with those tiny cars.

“OMG! This is insanity. I am a Free Mason and have been to 40 years. It was a powerful group prior to television. Now it is mostly elderly gents. Satanic? I have never heard or seen anything satanic.”

He’s what you would have to believe to believe the lies about Masons: a married father of five, 20 year Army Veteran with a tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam, with a subsequent 20 year civilian business career, who never even considered breaking the law, would be involved in an organization that is: a. Satanic b. wants to, or does, rule the world and c. according to some people is a pedophile organization (if you accused him face to face of this one he would have shot you in your big mouth). That would be my father. And people throwing out these accusations on FR apparently have no idea of how many people on FR are Masons.

Don’t even get me started on the Shriners. Those nefarious characters spend their time raising money for children’s hospitals where the treatment, transportation, and even lodging are totally paid for by the Shriner organizations. That’s serious demon activity right there.

George Washington was 67 when he past well past the average of 40 for those times.

It is my understanding that the calculated average for lifespans for people back in that era is skewed by including child deaths, of which there were many. If one survived childhood into adulthood, the expected lifespan would have been far more than 40.

I’ve seen books that talk about worshipping / glorifying the morning star. I believe that most involved in these types of organizations have no ill intention and are good people, but in my opinion, are being misled into worship of satan or at least unwittingly being part of an organization that does.

Or my Grandfather, with an MD office in Dedham, MA.

I have his ceremonial sword and scabbard wrapped in deerskin in a leather case. All ready to provoke mayhem!

He[re]’s what you would have to believe to believe the lies about Masons...

I don't know whether the Freemasons are Satanic or not, but the description of the Freemasons by those who think they do is generally similar to that of the Church of Scientology: the newbies are brought in believing that the organization is just a social group focused on positive things in the community, and only learn of the darker things as they achieve higher and higher rankings. So, even if the Freemasons were evil, I would not expect the lower ranking members to be evil necessarily, or know that the organization is evil.

Of course, you would say that. You had no choice. I have seen the videos. You people are far from Christian.

So, you don’t know; but you listen to stuff you’ve heard from those who ‘think’ they know. And you’ve apparently fallen down on the side that Freemasons are in an evil organization but they just don’t know it?

Do you realize how silly that sounds?

Have you ever thought of using your own mind and finding out on your own? There is plenty of information out there from those who DO know.

(And if you think EVERYONE is lying to you, I guess you’re in a real pickle.)

>> Freemasonry has not gone ‘coed’.

The womyn has their own demonophile group.

Rising Star or Eastern Star or something like that.

And the young men get in on the act with Demolay, I believe.

Hey dummy, my very first sentence said I don't know one way or the other. Apparently, you're just in the mood to argue with someone.

Your one point about the Freemasons was that you knew a good man who was a member, and therefore Freemasons couldn't be bad. I gave you a hypothetical scenario in which a good man could be part of an evil organization as a counter to your argument, and rather than counter THAT, you start mindlessly bitching.

Damn, we have too many people on FR who argue like snot-nosed little girls.

“I’ve seen books”

Then I’m sure you know more than the people actually in the organization.
