Maybe he should have gone on the show — and then gone rogue, taking the opportunity to confront Dolan on the air. I suppose they would just cut that segment from the show, which I’m guessing does not go out live.
Dolan didn’t “handle” anything, every catholic knows that each Cathedral has a rector and each cathedral is its own parish. If anyone is at fault, it is the rector or pastor of the cathedral parish. It’s the rector and his staff who are in charge of funerals and day-to-day events in their parish.
