As for the cliché that Islam is an Abrahamic religion, this is a head-on collision with the Biblical text. The greatest authority on what is Abrahamic was Abraham himself, who accepted that he had to expel his first-born son Ishmael from his family, community, and country because he was not at all “Abrahamic,” like his father.
To Jews, Abraham was the kindest man in the world, which is probably why God chose him. For the religious revolution that Abraham ignited (ethical monotheism) was not only the concept of one God but a kind God—versus the capricious, cruel, and often immoral gods in pagan pantheons.
That is a stupid point to argue. What you should be talking about is that Judaism and Christianity are religions where people have a relationship with God. The OT is full of stories where even Abraham and Moses argued and negotiated with God. The NT is all about the intimate relationship of living with God in you.
Islam is about Submission to an Unknowable God.
Hmmm. Well its true to say that Christianity might be an offshoot of Second Temple Judaism, so is the modern Rabbinic Judaism of today. Neither are the kind of Judaism of Jesus's day when the rituals outlined in the Torah were carried out in the Temple.
The New Testament is every bit as Jewish as that Talmud--and it was written earlier.
Yet the Dead Sea scrolls dare 900 years before any historical mention of the Koran.
Only Christianity is true. Everything else is a false religion.

You don’t need to be religious to see a telling difference between Christianity and Islam, a difference that cannot hide the negatives of Islam even today.
The prime figure in Christianity is Yeshua (Jesus) Christ, the Messiah, who in his sojourn on earth refused to allow his followers to take up the sword in his name, not even to defend him.
The prime firgue in Islam is a man who went to war against any and all in Arabia who would not go along with him, and who sanctioned such war against all non-Muslims; a call which his followers immediately took up, all across the Middle East, and beyond.
Even if one is not religious, there is no moral or ethical grounds to follow the latter example, or his cause.
One could make the case that Islam’s attitudes toward women are at the root of its many social pathologies, which is yet another reason it does not belong in America.
To this day, polygamy remains illegal in all fifty states, and as such, every mosque in the country that promotes polygamy is arguably an illegal operation and should be shut down.
