Wonderful post. To quote the late Archbishop Fulton Sheen: "There are not over a hundred people in the United States who hate the Roman Catholic Church; there are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church."

Much as I hate to disagree with the good archbishop, whom I greatly admire, I've come to the conclusion that that are plenty who would hate us anyway. Bigotry is not a rational thing.
