I am glad to read that you feel this way. I am Roman Catholic. I am interested in discussing what is in the news and analyzing what is going on. If the media are dumping on the Catholic Church, I would rather see it posted and Freepers expose what is going on by discussion and analysis. Underneath the Catholic bashing is an agenda that is as dangerous to the Republic as it is devastating to people of faith

When I have posted one of these articles dealing with the crisis in the Catholic Church in America it has been for the purpose of awareness and discussion which is what I thought FR was about. I have in no way sought to dump on the Church I love, but rather to keep FReepers informed and aware of the tenor of information as well as the agenda behind it. Perhaps I have not achieved my goals in that regard.

I do thank you for the time I have had on this forum. I have enjoyed it and getting to know the very able and bright minds and good souls here, but now I bid you and all adieu and God's peace.

Then why are you dumping these threads in the Religion Forum ghetto? If you mean what you say below, and you are a man of your word, then you would simply delete the thread altogether. But instead you pull it and dump it into the Religion Forum ghetto. Bit hypocritical if you mean what you say here, No?

Jim, I think you may have the motivation of some of us here who are posting these articles a bit confused. We're not dumping on the Catholic Church. Most of us are devout Catholics ourselves and are 'dumping' on those leaders within the American Church who have betrayed the Church's teachings and who, in our opinion, are destroying the Church from the inside.

It's no different than a group of true American patriot Freepers posting article after article on the scandals of the x42 administration. Nobody would accuse those folks of dumping on America just because they posted negative articles on the Clintons. Just so, most of us who are posting these articles about the Catholic Church scandal do so only to bring the corruption into the light of day so that the malefactors may be ousted.

Of course, we post completely at your pleasure on this forum so your word is law, big guy.
