What a wonderful address. I have been wondering why I have seen photos of our soldiers in Iraq with rosary beads in their hands, since AmChurch seems to have dropped all of the devotions that keep the faith alive on a daily basis. But now that I see what kind of priest is in charge of the military chaplains, I see the reason for this! I wish our bishops were as devout and faith-filled as the military vicar.

Saw this great man on "World Over Live" a few months ago. Would that all of our bishops and priests emulated his actions and words.
He's the kind of shepherd who stands for absolute Truth and not the "dialoguing question mark" that far too many of our shepherds embody.

A war for hearts and minds and lives virtually oblivious to the dynamic, grace-filled workings of God in their lives. What a beautiful and moving tribute! Thank you for posting this.
