The Da Vinci Code is another example of how hooey can be made respectable if it is directed against the Church.

Couldn't read this. I don't have any patience with this nonsense. My background is of a Catholic family with some branches that insist upon exploring the heretical gospels, nonsensical mysticism, and beliefs that are recycled heresies. (nothing new under this sun!)
Everyone wants to believe something "other" and yet, when it is all said and done, Jesus Christ is probably the One Figure in all of the world today that elicits the most polarized response. The World Secularists try to stop the expression of Jesus because of one thing: They are afraid it is TRUE.
And you know what? It is.

What an appallingly blasphemous book!

Excellent analysis. I'm glad to see so many "facts" from the book refuted.

Entertaining book, interesting characters, fun plot and a good read. I highly recommend it.
Movie coming soon. The author of this should relax. The book is a "
novel".
