Communists fear law abiding, gun owning citizens.

They do not fear criminals, because they are criminals.

I would say gun laws in New York , and Washington DC are the worst, but anywhere with high crime where you need a gun to defend yourself is bad for legal, citizens to hold weapons.

These places protect their killers and criminals. It’s as simple as that.
High Crime? Bad gun laws-—think about it. Who are they protecting?

This is yet another example of big city politics & gun control owning the rest of a mostly rural state. In this case, Chicago rules.

Most of Illinois is located outdoors. I drove the length of the state from Paducah KY to Beloit WI and have never seen so many silos & farmhouses.

Al Capone once bamboozled Chicago police by forcing them to arrest him for carrying an illegal handgun: “Here’s my gun, arrest me!”

Somewhere in H###, Scarface is laughing.

Illinois Constitution: “Bill of Rights” - ( or rights turned into privileges ergo..no rights ?)

SECTION 22. RIGHT TO ARMS
Subject only to the police power, the right of the
individual citizen to keep and bear arms shall not be
infringed.

The government has never been able to protect individual citizens and it does not have any legal duty to do so. The FOID card system like many similar systems favors the rich, celebrities, and those with powerful political ties.

The average citizen is left with the 9-1-1 system and police which have never been reliable in protecting an individual. Thus, the citizen must depend on the government and give up more of their hard earned money.

This is called taxes and fines, but it is protection/extortion money to politicians. The same politicians who own guns themselves and who are personally protected by police and armed body guards aplenty.
