Nothing like having B-52's waking you up in the morning. My better half used to live a few blocks from the Lockheed (General Dynamics/Northrop/North American) plant in Ft.Worth. Oh my G_d. The "sound of freedom" was never so prevalent.
C-130's are my weakness. LOL

My buddies and I would gather on the roof at base ops at Sawyer and watch the F-106's take off in the evening.
When those buggers would fire up their afterburners they'd light up the sky.
sure do miss those days...
