All violent crime is "hate" crime.
When I was a young man in the Old South I was considered a hopeless left winger because I believed the law ought to be color blind. Now that I am somewhat older I am considered a hopeless right winger because I believe the law ought to be color blind. I do believe in equal protection of the laws. I wish the law did.
