The quintessence of lowbrow and popculture: Matt Drudge. The world's most boring radio personality: Matt Drudge. The world's best internet site: Matt Drudge. He should have quit when he was ahead.

You know, you are really right on this. As Clint Eastwood ("Dirty Harry" once said, "A man's got to know his limitations")

Interesting how the author accuses Bush of being sort of a prisoner of his "wasp rich" background, like he is some kind of insulated snooty person then the author reveals his own elitism,,like watching Sex and the City and other such "highbrow" popular culture crap makes one better than the little guy, I think the writer is an effete snob,,BTW I watch Sex and the City,,it is no great tv show but is kind of entertaining, not high culture if you ask me. I detest anyone who attempts to define what is culturally right by his own standards. Especially a NYT writer, the personification of one who is trapped in his insulated little environment.
