“The tragedy of the election of 2008 is that it will have been the youth of America which has been conditioned to be loyal to the state who voted for their own servitude. They simply do not have the experience nor discernment to see what is the oldest and most despicable of political lies and destroyer of nations; the notion that the so called, government can give us anything that will increase our happiness.”
Right on here. Question is, why didn’t the GOP strategists see it, and what can we do about it? College campi have been crawlng with libs for years. The GOP NEVER reached ot to the youth vote, based on their old statistics of a time gone by. Being out of touch with the pulse of America’s youth, those 18-30somethings, has been a huge oversight.
Having any faith in a political party is guaranteed to bring disappointment. The GOP is the party of Lincoln and the party of reform and the party of liberty. Unfortunately, the leadership has forgotten that. It is up to us to take it back, one stinking bureaucrat at a time. In the mean time, Our flag is still there and so is our rock and foundation.
THE SOLID ROCK
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly trust in Jesus Name.
Refrain
On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.
When darkness seems to hide His face,
I rest on His unchanging grace.
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
Refrain
His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood.
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my Hope and Stay.
Refrain
When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh may I then in Him be found.
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
