Senator Ted Cruz was the youngest and longest-serving Solicitor General of Texas with a staff of around 4,000 people. He was also director of policy planning at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and a an associate deputy attorney general in the U.S. Justice Department. He also won District of Columbia v. Heller, Van Orden v. Perry, Elk Grove Unified School District v. Newdow, League of United Latin American Citizens v. Perry, Medellin v. Texas and other important cases. Please show me where Mr. Obama ever stepped foot in a court room...

"What has he led- his Senate staff?"

So you've been pulling a Rumpel Stiltskin for the past few years? Glad to have you back with us.

Otherwise you'd have picked up on the fact that Cruz is at the forefront of true conservatism. He's been one of the very few voices championing us in Washington.

" Governing is something Cruz has yet to do?"

And? You think Obama would be a better president if he'd governed a state? It's the ideology that makes the difference. God, I'm going to get sick of repeating myself before 2016, but so be it.

Limbaugh destroyed the "senator vs. governor" meme recently, and he was right on point. I see my post #22 didn't make a dent, so I'll offer you this.

Ted Cruz on "Senator vs. Governor"

Please note post # 4.

Read. Learn.

From July 2001 to January 2003, Cruz was the director of the Office of Policy Planning at the FTC.

"Cruz faces a steep climb to the nomination and the presidency. But if he can defy the odds and claim the White House, he’ll bring a level of hands-on experience with the regulatory state — and a proven zeal for cutting it down to size — that few, if any, of his predecessors could match."
