Mayor de Blasio declared Sunday that Donald Trump is no real New Yorker, even if the mogul has his name plastered on so many buildings in town.
The mayor told reporters that The Donald’s politics were out of line with “the values” of everyone else in the city.
De Blasio — who is still refusing to endorse his former boss Hillary Rodham Clinton for president — took the shot at Trump during a Washington Heights press conference in which a reporter asked about the billionaire being the only New York City resident running for the White House.
“I don’t think he represents the values of the vast majority of New Yorkers,” the Democratic mayor said. “I think whoever [the Republicans] produce for the general election will not represent the values of not only this place, but I suspect they will not represent the values of the American people.”
Trump — who predicted at his campaign rollout last week that he would be “the greatest jobs president that God has ever created” — shot back at de Blasio, noting the “many thousands of jobs” he has created in the city....

Most people like money - I would actually listen to Trump who has actually created jobs long before I would listen to deblllasssssiiiiiooooo who seems to only worry about HIS job.

It sure is nice to actually have a Presidential candidate who supports and defends legal Americans for a change. Now that is change.
I'm pretty sure New Yorkers (including DeBlasio) could not care less what so-called "real Americans" think of NYC.

How else do you think anything ever gets done in “those” places.
Those places sure as hell ain’t Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
But he is still better than dddeeeeebbbbllllllaaaaasssssiiiiiooooo.

Even better, if that candidate can finance his own campaign, he/she will not be a slave of their rich donor masters. Trump can afford to say he is against a bad trade deal like the TPP. But most others must obey their rich donors.
Do not waste effort explaining how businesses must operate in real world to those who do not have that experience.

Well, Trump is an unapologetic capitalist which De Blasio isn’t. Great job, NYC voters!
Trump is the only thing out there, as crazy as that seems to be.
