Coat sign posts in grease then sprinkle hot pepper powder into the grease. Get that on your hands and you will be very sorry in in pain for a couple days.
We grow Carolina Reapers and you have to wear gloves to even pick them. They will leave blisters on you fingers if you don’t.

We’re looking to get out of Charlotte but stay in NC. It’s pretty sad when we are including the political “lean” of any particular county in addition to the acreage/square footage/number of bedrooms for any future NC house. Personally, I’d just a soon move to West Virginia, but the wife won’t have it...too far from the grand chillins...
My next bit of advice may seem fuddy-duddy-ish but I think it’s important to consider.
As humorous as some of these post have been I would urge caution in actually attempting a few of them. Remember that you represent the campaign and that holds financial, legal, and political implications for you, the campaign, and even the candidate.
If you alter a sign to do damage or injury to someone you could be held personally liable. For example, you (or someone in your local campaign group) decide to electrify a sign. Presumably you employ a high voltage, low amperage unit designed for cattle and not just a wire plugged into the wall! Did you know that you are required to post caution signs all along the electrified portion of your electric circuit? Or that the unit, designed to deliver a painful shock can kill a small child? You would be legally and financially on the hook for that.
Less dramatic but still worthy of consideration, what if you were to alter your signs with noxious chemicals or barbed wire? Don’t forget who has to install those signs. Who has to maintain those signs. And who has to collect those signs after the election. Do you really want those things in the trunk of your car?!
Even my GPS idea poses personal risks. I did sit up nights, ready to confront the scumbags. We worked in teams so it wouldn’t be a solo confrontation but there are still risks. Our plan was to remain as non-violent as possible and just collect picture evidence for the cops to use. But what if it goes sideways? Do you really want to go to jail over an f’ing sign?
