PALM BEACH, Florida (LifeSiteNews) — After an extended absence from public view, former First Lady Melania Trump is reportedly set to return to the campaign trail for her husband starting with a fundraiser for homosexual “conservative” group Log Cabin Republicans at her and husband Donald’s resort home of Mar-a-Lago.
The news puts to rest unsubstantiated rumors that Mrs. Trump was distancing herself from the former president’s 2024 campaign, while at the same time highlighting the Trumps’ support for aspects of the LGBT agenda, particularly homosexuality, despite effectively dominating the GOP and American conservative movement.

I take what Leviticus 20:13: says as speaking of their judgment day with the Lord. It is not directing man to kill the person. Because the Lord commands that we shall not kill. Does the lord mean that we should not protect ourselves?
I pray that they turn away from their sinful act. I do not deceive by stating anything other than what I believe. I tell them that I do not approve of their sexual choices, but I also tell them that I will not judge them based solely upon their sexuality.
It's also a sin to sleep with a man/woman who is not their spouse, or to be intimate with anyone other than the spouse. So do you reject them as well?

You keep posting on this thread as though it is about an individual but it isn’t, it is about a political organization formed to advance portions of the national and international gay power movement within the Republican party of the United States.
Something very different than the Christian theme you keep pushing.
The Constitution the Tenth Amendment gives the basis to send it back to the states.
There was once a proposal for a Pro-Life Constitutional Amendment but the political machine came in and whizzed it down decades ago.

Rightly so because it is a Constitutional issue. Making abortion a right by Congress was wrong, just as passing a Federal anti-abortion law would be unconstitutional.
Abortion was never added and amended to the Constitution.
There are 27 Amendments to the Constitution.

a person is a creation of God. what a person does is many times a self made choice and sinful=apart from God. IE: not a product of God.
God gives every person times of temptation/addiction to some thing or other and some times it’s a person and we have to choose to resist the temptation/addiction or sin and fall away from God and what He says in His word on the matter.

Just doing some research into the group. Republicans should certainly be cautious in embracing homosexual activist groups, but it’s worth noting that they are one of the least radical of homosexual activist groups. They have endorsed every Republican presidential nominee since Reagan.
The group was formed in 1977 as an opposition group to the “Briggs Initiative”, which became a California voter referendum in 1978. It’s worth noting that at the time, Ronald Reagan publicly opposed the initiative, which put him at odds with various Christian groups who ended up supporting him in 1980.
The Briggs Initiative ended up failing. This summary put out by the California Secretary of State’s Office at the time, outlines its provisions:
“The provision would have provided that a public school teacher, teacher’s aide, administrator, or counselor could be fired if the employee was found to have engaged in either (1) “public homosexual activity,” which the initiative defined as an act of homosexual sex which was “not discreet and not practiced in private, whether or not such act, at the time of its commission, constituted a crime,” or (2) “public homosexual conduct,” which the initiative defined as “the advocating, soliciting, imposing, encouraging or promoting of private or public homosexual activity directed at, or likely to come to the attention of, schoolchildren and/or other employees.”

I don’t have a problem with this.
I have family members who are homosexual as do most of my fellow Freepers.
I have worked and continue to with brilliantly talented people who happen to be homosexual. Most people don’t get in the faces of fellow people to demand accommodations and validation. They just want to peacefully quietly live their lives. Amen.
Like you, I have gay family members and gay co-workers. One of my gay family member is my son who came out in 1988.(My first marriage) He thought I would hate him, but I told him that he is still my son, his mom who is a gay right supporter didn’t like that he was gay.
