I suggest he should be forced into the same Senate purgatory as Trent Lott. Whatever committee he leads (on the Dem side), demand that he resign from it.
If what Lott said was so offensive, Kennedy should be hounded for his statement as well.

Why aren't there any Republicans who will beat the drum?
It's obvious that the Dem's will not let any minorities get appointed because they are afraid that it will benifit the Republicans. It's Racism with a capital "R"!
