Danish pedophiles in UK spotlight

A series of reports in Britain have highlighted the freedom of Danish pedophiles to promote their cause across Europe

The BBC's flagship radio news programme 'Today' has set sharp focus on what many claim to be a case of freedom of speech being taken too far. Describing the Danish laws on freedom of expression as an 'international' problem, the programme highlighted the fact that Danish pedophiles are allowed to broadcast and espouse their lifestyle far beyond this nation's shores.

The series of reports, which were broadcast on consecutive days last week, come in the wake of a highly publicised case in which a British man was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment for killing a Danish pedophile. London-born Stephen Hoath, who has lived in Denmark for the past 13 years, claims he and a friend shot the man because local police refused to take action when his nine-year-old daughter was molested. Hoath, 53, who has a terminal lung disease and faces spending the rest of his life behind bars, is appealing against the sentence. Britain's print media is also closely following the case.

The BBC report pulled no punches in describing how the legal Danish Pedophile Association (DPA) runs a website which promotes pro-pedophile views. The website, www.danpedo.to, features articles in English, Dutch, Italian, French and Danish.

The DPA is a legal organisation in Denmark, holding regular meetings, issuing press releases and lobbying politicians. Its website claims a difference exists between the sexual abuse of children and what it describes as 'paedophilia with erotic-sexual contact.' Amongst its claims, the society argues those who seek to prevent 'erotic' relationships between adults and children are, in fact causing more harm than good. According to one online article, 'sexual activities that children spontaneously engage in for the sake of pleasure and affection are not harmful & but a child can be 'harmed emotionally if a third party intervenes and becomes shocked by what has happened.'

Although the DPA claims that it is does not organize or act as an intermediary in any kind of criminal activity, its critics allege that it does serve as a focal point and meeting place for those seeking to commit crime. However, under the current law, police cannot ban the organisation. Instead the police have to find evidence against individuals and prosecute them.

The DPA claims that banning the organisation would only drive its members underground, further isolating those with pedophile tendencies. Critics, including the charity Save the Children, do not believe the DPA's claim that the website serves only as a forum. They fear that what they describe as outdated liberal attitudes are leading to 'vigilante'-style attacks such as that carried out by Hoath. 'I believe very much that they have sexual relations with children because they are so convinced that they don't harm children,' Save the Children's Danish spokesperson Kumo Sørensen stated recently.

Speaking to the BBC, Copenhagen Police Chief Per Larsen admitted that many in authority are deeply suspicions of the society's activities. 'They are very clandestine,' he said. 'They are well aware of how dangerous it is for them to expose themselves to society. So, it is very difficult to investigate them in this environment.'

The Hoarth case is not the first to put this nation in the international spotlight. In August last year, a pedophile ring uncovered in Denmark led to 20 arrests in the US, England and mainland Europe. Dubbed 'Operation Hamlet,' the investigation was launched after police were given information by Save the Children about photographs of a Danish man molesting a nine-year-old girl that were circulated on the Internet. In summer 2003, two high-profile child murders led for calls for a toughening of the nation's laws relating to freedom of expression.

Not sure if this had ever been posted, I checked and did not find. There is also some confusion on the original date it seems.

And so... Freedom of expression?

Yeah, try telling that to my wife.
The sicko who brutalised her when she was little still breathes and lives in Destin Florida now.

She still has nightmares, and she's 42 now.

10 minutes ?? FAR too short of a time to spend on these animals. There supposedly was a torture employed by SAVAK, the Shah of Iran's Counterintelligence Agency, called "the burning.

You strap a person down, grab a propane torch, and start from the toes and fingertips, and work your way in.

THAT is almost too good for a pedophile. . .

This tolerance of pedophilia will soon spread across Europe, then into Canada, and slowly slither into this country. Resistance is futile...

Con: "Gay marriage is not marriage. Next thing you know, pedophiles will demand their 'right' to marry small children"

Lib: "That's apples and oranges. A child is too young to make such an important decision!"

Con: "How do you feel about parental notification laws for abortion?"

Lib: "I am against them!"

Con: "So a youngster is mature enough to 'choose' to have sex with an adult and have an abortion without their parents finding out, but not mature enough to marry an adult?"

Lib: "Duuuuuh!"

This will become commonplace in the USA, if the molesters ever gain "legitimacy" here. In a street war between the NAMBLA and the NRA, who would you bet on?

Hopefully, about *six feet* underground.

I spent some time in Denmark in the early '70's. They had decks of cards with pedophilic acts on them. I had no idea this type of thing was available anywhere in the world, much less in a hotel gift shop. I am still in shock.

What is it with these idiots? Can't they be vigilantes without getting caught?

My very thought (GMTA!) except with our Supreme Court looking to "international law" for guidance we might just rely on Danish law and skip Europe and Canada. :-(

Off the Pedo website: The child can withdraw at any moment according to its desire. The adult respects the child's wish and does not blame the child for its decision.

Looks like they see them as objects....

I know.
But there is a guy, now in his late 60's early 70's, who lives there who gets his kicks with 9 year old girls.
I have been tempted to make a side trip to Destin when I next visit my relatives down that way.
Probably not a good idea on my part.

Some will say, "But, he did that back in the 60's and 70's! He couldn't POSSIBLY still be a threat!"
Probably they'll say that with much hand wringing and whining.
My wife, as I said, still wakes up at night with nightmares.
She's now 42, and still has nightmares about it.
That's a long time to go living with that.
It's a miracle I got as much info out of her as I did about what happened.

Muslims recognize and condone pedophilia - in fact child rape is permitted---even the "prophet' muhamed married a gir of 9.

The Talibaners were frequently abusing each other and it was acceptable.
