Are they truly basing this on "iffy" climate data and "a few bone chips?" I thought scientists were supposed to adhere to a higher standard of experimentation.

Just think, if they find your house a million years from now, they'll be able to infer the existence of saws and hammers even if they never find a single specimen. Yep, it's veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery impressive what the human brain can do if only it's put to use.
