Has anyone done a study on the broken family rate among democrats vs republicans?

How many of us actuall remember living in a home with three blood generations? My wife's parents live a mile down the road from us -- my daughter stays there as much as she's at our house. My parents just retired and are five miles away. Not to mention that two of my wife's 3 sisters live in town. Not exactly the same thing, but pretty close.

How many of us actuall remember living in a home with three blood generations? How about four?
When all my uncles were coming home from WWII, we went through a spell of about 5/6 years where my great-grandfather, grandfather, parents, sister, three uncles (two unmarried, one married with a little girl) and an unmarried aunt all lived in the old family homestead.
They were the best years of my childhood.
