Toomey will be on Dom Giordano's show before 9 p.m. this evening - anytime between now and 9 p.m. Call the show!

Well, here are some things about Specter's background that I posted earlier. Freepers seemed to respond well when I posted it originally. Hopefully any lurkers that aren't solidly in the Toomey camp yet might want to look at these very carefully.

Wake Up Pennsyvania Republicans!!!

The following groups and individuals are ON PUBLIC RECORD as backing Snarlin' Arlen:

ARLEN SPECTER: ENDORSED BY GEORGE SOROS
ARLEN SPECTER: ENDORSED BY HAROLD ICKES

ARLEN SPECTER: ENDORSED BY UNITED MINE WORKERS
ARLEN SPECTER: ENDORSED BY THE AMERICAN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES UNION

Does this sound like a "Republican" Senator to you?!

A FEW OF THE MANY CONSERVATIVE VICTIMS OF RINO ARLEN SPECTER'S OBSTRUCTIONISM

JEFF SESSIONS
Now the soft-spoken, friendly junior Senator from Alabama. Has worked with Senator Specter for many years.
Nominated for U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Alabama

BORKED BY ARLEN SPECTER, 1985

ROBERT BORK
Author of best selling novels, a former U.S. Solicitor General and as Acting Attorney General, and good friend to Gerald Ford
Nominated for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court

BORKED BY ARLEN SPECTER, 1988

J. LEON HOLMES
Well-respected Little Rock, Ark., lawyer and former president of Arkansas Right to Life. Bipartisan support.
Nominated for U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas

BORKED BY ARLEN SPECTER, 2003

WHO WILL NEXT ON THE SPECTER BORKING LIST?

Uncle Mo is accompanying Toomey in tomorrows contest with the guy who Borked Bork.

On the way home this evening Toomey was on WABC which reaches the Poconos in Pa. Some guy called in saying he was switching to Toomey from Specter. He sounded legitimate, said he wasn't a real political type and usually voted for the incumbent but after hearing Toomey he would vote for Toomey and would try to get his wife to do the same. I believ he was being honest and I believe Specter is burnt toast.

"Bush should have stayed out of the fight."

Agreed. However, what is in it for Bush? Specter will owe Bush a vote when it comes to selecting someone for higher office. That doesn't mean Specter will pay off considering it is his last term.

Specter is a cockroach.

BTW, Specter will not be able to fulfill his term. That will be interisting if it happens.

KQQL is usually right, but this time I think he'll be proved wrong.

There is a Toomey sign on Beechwood Blvd in Squirrel Hill.

There is not even a hint of a Snarlin Arlen sign.

He's toast.

yes you are correct that I am usually right, but that doesn't mean I am always right.

I don't know... I just can't see Toomey pulling it off. ( I hope he does though)

Most union voters register Dem. I've heard very little about cross-over voters. I don't think Arlen realized how much trouble he was in until too late.

Chicago isn't in Pennsylvania, right?

No, but there is a Chicago Springs Trail, PA! Is that close enough?

What's frustrating is that this poll has 38% of pro-lifers supporting Specter -- that's insane.

If you're pro-life, this race is a no-brainer. Arlen Specter chairing the Judiciary Committee is a pro-lifer's worst nightmare.

I agree. Specter is no better than Jim Jeffords, and if we lose trying to win, so be it...America can't be held hostage by RINOs.

That is insane, could it be possible?

Unless they are listening to Santorum?

He should have to answer to that.

It just shows that there are many uninformed people among the conservative ranks, just as there are the uninformed among the liberals.

Didn't something like 34 to 38 percent of the "Christian right" allegedly vote to reelect the Clinton-Gore electors in 1996? Dole and Kemp did not attract some of these voters.
