(CNSNews.com) - Sen. John F. Kerry bowed his head and put his hand over his heart as he stood before President Ronald Reagan's coffin on Tuesday. "Entering the lobby, Kerry paused in silent reflection at the foot of the mahogany casket and bit his lip before making the sign of the cross and then stepping away," the Boston Globe reported. Former President Bill Clinton was frequently photographed biting his lower lip. The Boston Globe reported that many other Democrats will pay their respects to Ronald Reagan - when his body arrives in Washington. Kerry was in California for his daughter's graduation from film school. He suspended his campaign activities this week out of respect to Reagan, but the decision has virtually sidelined him at a time when President Bush is very much in the headlines.

I assume he was photographed walking away from the casket touching away a tear from his eye. When he thought the camera was gone, he started joking.
More bad news for Kerry. I am not sure where the Dennis the Penis Millers show is taped, but last night during the opening segment, he says....
...." And John Kerry announced that he would suspend campaign to Honor the memeory of Ronald Reagan...Hey John, If you really want to Honor Reagan,.........QUIT!"

Yesterday morning, after Kerry suspends active campaigning, his campaign staff notify the media that Kerry will be paying his respects around 2:00. [Most other dignitaries saw no need to give advanced PR of their arrival time.]
AP just happens to get the apparent Kerry photographer, Jeff Chiu to the Reagan Library, where Chiu, either with special permission to photograph or by breaking the rules of the Library that photographing is prohibited, takes at least two photos, and Chiu/AP manages to get those photos up on the web within 30 minutes.
Some posters said someone took video, as the video feed made it to the nightly news. [I didn't see the nightly news so I don't know whether they used the webfeed video -- stationary video camera -- or other.]
When I saw the post Juanita was the first thing that came to mind. LOL you beat me to it!
Kerry planned this photo op very carefully.
