Sen. Chuck Hagel is at it again, trying to be all things to all people in his bid for the Presidency in 2008. As a constituent of Sen. Hagels, who the Senator has failed miserably, I call on all Freepers to do their part to make sure this man does not get the GOP nomination in 2008.

Why doesn't he just do a Jeffords and get it over with?

Hagel and Ben Nelson are just two sides of the same counterfeit coin. Both of them embarass me to be from Nebraska.

This Rino thinks he's viable for 2008. Well, he has no chance of getting my vote. I have an Anbody But Hagel attitude for 2008.

Listen Senator, if you don't want to revisit Vietnam, then don't, and TuneTFO. Other Vets, with equal rights to free speech, want to revisit it, so just STFU!

"Politics is about inspiration, it's about lifting people up," Hagel said, prompting applause.
It seems painfully obvious to me that Hagel has no CLUE what the purpose of a political campaign is. The purpose is to WIN, to gain office and then to hold that office.
Must not be any oxygen in the air wherever he is.

Hagel and McCain are backstabbers. We have to manage with them and it's not easy. Y'all might be surprised but I've met many educated people who are captivated by McCain's maverick ways.

If McCain get's the Nomination in 2008, Hagel is going to be his running mate.
Hagel has no hope of winning a primary, but if he's out, when he's put on McCain's ticket, he won't be a COMPLETE unknown (the Edwards Gambit).
You heard it here, first.
NOBODY, (including Kerry) has sucked up to McCain MORE than Hagel.

Hagel said the candidates, President Bush and Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., have hurt the political process by focusing on division rather than unity in the flap over Kerry's service 30 years ago in Vietnam.Bush? Bush has focused on division? Where does this idiot come from? (A close friend of McLame) Does that tell you anything?

Dont worry. The blowhard has no constituency. He's an uninteresting version of McPain.

I don't think he has a chance at the nomination - at least I hope the pubbies have someone better.

Why can't Nebraska do better than Hagel and his ilk? Is there something in the Nebraska water?

Before he runs for anything else, he needs to do something about his name, Hagel...much too close to Hegel.

"Sen. Chuck Hagel is at it again, trying to be all things to all people in his bid for the Presidency in 2008." Well, I now have a Sen. Chuck Hagel file on my comp. That's so in 2007 I will be able to remind you and me what a wimp this guy is. I don't want a wimp trying to protect me from Islamists.

I'm an Iowa activist and I can guarantee you this man will get no where. I also will not support any pro-abort, pro-homosexual and I think the only way they will get into the top three in Iowa is for conservatives to split the votes and I doubt that will happen.
