ORENBURG, September 25 (Itar-Tass) - The perpetrators of a series of recent terror strikes in Russia could have been trained in a religious Muslim school in the town of Buguruslan, the northwest of the Orenburg region, a source at the press service of the Federal Security Service department for the Orenburg region told Itar-Tass on Friday.

There is information that some graduates of the Buguruslan Muslim religious school took part in the preparation and perpetration of the terrorist acts in Moscow and the Moscow region as well as the attacks in Nazran and complicity to recruiting militants for illegal armed groups operating in Chechnya.

“The academic plans and the curriculum of this religious educational establishment are being studied at the moment. Investigators are trying to trace a link between the nature of instruction and the complicity of some of the graduates to terrorist activities,” the FSB department officials said.

A mosque and a religious school were set up in Buguruslan, the northwest of the Orenburg region, under the control of the local mufti council in the 1990s. The project was financed predominantly from Saudi Arabia. Most of the teachers at the Buguruslan Muslim school were Arabs.

It always seems to come back to the Saudis and their madrassas.

Saudi Arabia is the poison well that needs a permanent cap.

Correct.

I hate the moniker "War on Terror." It's almost Orwellian, like "War on the Ememy."

Name them. Defeat them.

Name them. Defeat them.

Agreed. I cringe when I hear that phrase. We're fighting evil people using an evil concept, not the effect of their method.

Like a dirty bomb? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1227114/posts

saudi arabia is the birthplace of islam and arab muslim terrorism.

This filthy, demonic cult of death should be excised, starting with their embassy in DC.

Beslan was simply the islamic version of 'spreading the good news'.

No surprise at all that they were studied in the koran.

Here's a translation of a newspaper's investigation into Chechnyan financing in the Orel region.

If you really want to read something that makes you vomit, do some research on a group called "American Committee for Peace in Chechnya," which recently criticized ther Putin government for its heavy-handed methods of dealing with the Chechnya problem.

That a group like this exists should not come as a surprise to anyone. What makes it such a disgrace, though, is that when you read through a list of the committee's members you'll find that many of them are the same people who have been the most vocal supporters of the U.S. "war on terror" in Iraq.

I offer the likes of Elliott Abrams, Alexander Haig, Robert Kagan, William Kristol, Michael Ledeen, Robert McFarlane, Richard Perle, Norman Podhoretz and James Woolsey as cases in point. Many of these people also supported the Clinton administration when it sided with a radical Islamic element in Kosovo to topple the Milosevic regime in Serbia.

Over time, it's becoming clear to me that they are calling this an idiotic "war on terror" because if they revealed their true agenda then nobody would support them.

So right, my friend. After Pearl Harbor we didn't declare war on sneak attacks, we declared war on Japan and Germany.

Islam has declared war on the civilized world, and they are waging it with a vengeance.

We need to reciprocate, and purge America of this insidious cancer.
