I work in dowtown Cleveland and just returned home from there. The Kerry rally is right across the street from the building where I work. The appearance is quite different than what you are seeing on C-SPAN. It is a relatively small area with a relatively small and quiet crowd. For the size of Cleveland, the rally is extremely disappointing. The usual union people and liberals are basically the only ones there. Compare this to the crowds and enthusiasm that W draws. Our great President WILL WIN OHIO!

Almost all I've seen in the background lately in pics of Kerry rallies are union reps, who probably make $80K per year like the lummox painters union rep I spoke with here last year. This guy didn't realize he would be hit by the Dem "tax the rich" strategy until I informed him he was probably in the top 20% income percentile.

Doesn't look good for Kerry if he has to pay people to show up.

I have been watching all the stump speech's via satellite and the Bush crowds are a lot bigger and a lot more jacked then Kerry's.

Just watching Bruce in Cleveland and the crowd is very small, Bush in NM was a lot bigger.

I just turned on CSPAN and the crowd doesn't look too excited. Bareley anyone has signs and it's very quiet for a rally on the eve of an election.

I have wondered about Kerry's audiences, and I get the impression they're not as big as Bush's.

I think the only really big rally for Kerry was the one with Bruce Springsteen.

Yes, this was funny, I saw this on the news and it was clear that the news media was trying everything to make the crowd look larger. They we trying a wide angle lens and getting low so you could see more heads in the foreground. It was pretty sad. It made me think that maybe the turn out for the dems tomorrow won't be what they expect.
