""America loves Hollywood. When given a chance to vote for someone from Hollywood, they jump in." He cited the history of successful Republican actor-politicians from George Murphy to Ronnie Reagan to Arnold."

He then proffers Tom Hanks.

Moore is the gift that just keeps giving.

There's no way Moore will roll over (figuratively or otherwise) and just give it up. He'll plow millions into the next propaganda movie based on the success of F911. What will be interesting is to watch the Dems response. They're getting hammered for putting Moore alongside Jimmah Cawtuh at the DNC, will they distance themselves from Moore in the future or not?

""America loves Hollywood. When given a chance to vote for someone from Hollywood, they jump in." He cited the history of successful Republican actor-politicians from George Murphy to Ronnie Reagan to Arnold. "Who is the Democrats' Arnold? We have a number of them. What American wouldn't vote for Tom Hanks (news)? Hollywood is full of people like that." When I asked what actor would trade a $20 million salary and a percentage of the gross, he countered with "Let's pay the actor-politicians a presidential salary of $20 million -- plus a percentage of the GNP."

I can't make up my mind whether this guy is actually THAT STUPID, or simply getting a kick out of pulling our leg and getting his name in the headlines!

Then maybe they should run Vincent D'Onofrio for President in 2008. He sounds like just the kind of reasonable, stable leadership the Demokook party needs right now.

Good news for Republicans in 08. Now if we can be sure to get the Chicks, Babs and P. Diddy DooDoo activated the country can go red again in 08. My grandson, age 15, predicted the election results a few weeks ago when he told me "Kerry will lose. What do movie stars know about politics, Grandma?"

Ha. 9/11½ is a bit of a labored construction, and not at all catchy.

Wish Moore and Weinstein all success! It will ensure the Republicans a filibuster-proof majority in Congress in 2006!

Keep it up, fellas! You're doing a great job! (for us)

One of the definitions of insanity is to continue to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result.

That's right.

Lets get one thing Clear. There is a HUGH, and SERIES misconception about Moore.

Moore is not what he appears to be.

What he is, is a Cynical Exploitative Capitalist, preening as a would-be Marxist in order to exploit the huge chasm of ignorance that exists.

Look, simply put, if the public had any grasp whatsoever of Current Events, F9/11 would have been doomed from the git-go.

The myopic leftwing establishment MSM is a factor he plays to his own PROFIT. Notice, if you will for all of his preening, and agitating, none of his Millions wound up at Moveon.Org.

Every Conservative should go see his movies, increse the image of his power, because his Bottom line is what the left judges him by.

Regular America, is a little smarter.

Another thing I can't understand is WHY someone from
the Democratic Party doesn't speak up and DISAVOW this
character! I can't fathom Babs Streisand having anything but a bad taste in her mouth when she runs into his stuff!
And they call us folks in the Red Counties IDIOTS?!
