Media: force a Kerry Form 180 Filing
vanity

Posted on 11/16/2004 12:29:02 PM PST by blues-train

During the campaign, several news organizations obtained the complete military records of John O'Neil (SwiftBoat Vets), without his authorization. This would imply that a signed DD180 form is NOT required. Why then can Kerry's complete records not be obtained using the same procedures? Help me understand what I'm missing!

I'm wondering if John O'Neil had filled out a 180 form a while back or something.

What they have done is commit a crime to obtain these records. It shows they will stoop to any level it takes to fling mud at those who do not see things their way. If it's someone they like they'll go to no ends to protect that individuals rights. These are tactics worthy of Nazis and Communists. They reveal themselves for who they truly are.

Well, what we do pretty much know is he has something to hide. Obviously.

The difference is easy. The Swift Boat Vets were not lying scumbag, traitorous, elists, trying to hide a shame and disgrace of such a criminal nature that even the ultra-liberal, old-timey radical progressive media would have gagged at the lie they were being asked to foist off on the American public.

Kerry? The name rings a bell, but I can't quite recall in what connection....wasn't he a candidate for some office or something?

The MSM made a big darn deal out of Bush's NG records despite his having agreed to their release; despite Bush having been CIC for nearly 4 years; despite Bush not making his NG service an issue. Yet, the MSM sat on their hands and said almost nothing while Kerry hid much of his military record. The MSM did pretty much the same when it was disclosed that TAY-RAY-ZAH paid taxes at only 12% (a lower rate than the working poor pay!). Such an obvious bias!

I think "something" is more accurate.

Voters of America gave Kerry his 180 - do not proceed to POTUS - return to Senate. That is all.

O'Neill deserved more scrutiny. After all Kerry was the Democrat nominee for President, and as such infallible. O'Neill promoted blasphemous notions about him. For his heresy, O'Neill shall be shunned. For being against Bush, Kerry shall be embraced--to not do so is narrow minded, bigoted, homophobic, and just plain stupid.

We just don't get it. The liberals are simply better then the rest of us in every way.

Right, when it comes to Bush nothing less than full disclosure is expected and then demanded by the MSM!
When it comes to Teresa and John, well the criticism is from hostile sources and so it isn't worthy of their examination.

How rediculous!

Get Fair!! Get us the info we want or stop calling yourselves reporters and register as 527's!!!

A signed Form 180 and an explanation for their meager 12% tax rate would both make for excellent starters! No wonder John said he and Teresa don't need a tax cut!!!

The proper way to spell his name is QUERRIE. That is the way his pals, the snail-sucking surrender monquies spell it.

It's one of those things that the demoncRATS get another free pass on just like twerpy heinz sKerry not releasing her COMPLETE income tax records. Am I happy? No! I feel that the issue shouldn't die. Would like to see that dishonorable discharge published far and wide. Will I ever see it? No. Mainstream media, being pro-demoncRAT and biased, will never let it see the light of day.

Are you 100% sure that the MSM got the "complete" set of records? They might have all that they can get, BUT I would bet they don't have all that are there!

Almost anyone can get a significant amount of Armed Services personnel records via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. This is what is posted on Kerry's web site. What is being held back on Kerry is about 100 additional pages that cannot be released without a signed Form 180. I would suspect that the same is true of O'Neil's records.
