Thank God I don't live near the ocean!

I live within 1000 ft. of the ocean. Geesh, I hope this doesn't raise my taxes.... if the others get wiped out that is.
Global warming,hurricanes, and now Tsunami's poised to hit the east coast! My next door neighbor keeps a 14ft john boat secured to the roof of his house w/a 14 day supply of mre's. Is this a good idea? Panicked in Tampa
