His discharge records, for instance.
They can profess lack of bias but the facts speak for themselves.
The entire CBS Newsroom is filled with people like Schieffer, old, cranky, confused and delusional.
You cant send out Rather... Anchors are pretty much "Ken Dolls" that can read the teleprompter. Complete with an empty plastic head. Im not sure if his head would pop off and bounce around the room if he was shot with a bb gun... But it might be worth a try :)
yep, that's why he absolutely would NOT put the blame where it belonged. Birds of a feather. It'll be nice to see a whole new crew of fresh faces. However, for us...we only watch FNC so we won't see it. Cronkite, Schiefer, Rather, Brokaw, Jennings...the whole crew. Yesterdayville and THEY KNOW IT>
AND...living in the past of the kennedy era which is LONG GONE only they don't know it .
These dinosaurs are rotting and they don't even know that they died.
What's replacing Rather, Rooney, Schieffer and Wallace will make them sound like Goldwater by comparison.
:)
Have to do with financials????????? Not sure.

News Quote of The Day
January 13, 2005
Imus: "What is the mood over there at CBS?"
CBS' Bob Schieffer: "Well it's not very good Don. It's bad. I guess there is sort of a sense of relief that this report is finally out because we all have been waiting for it to come out. From the moment this story fell apart as it did it was like people were kind of kicked in the gut. It sort of took the air out of everybody. So I think now that the report is out, we have a better idea of what happened so in that sense I guess there is some sense of relief. It's not a very happy place right now. I have to be very honest with you."
