It's been no particular secret that Chuck Hagel aspires to be president one day. Is illegal immigration the vehicle to propel him there? I haven't seen his proposal for immigration from last year, it will be interesting to look up You guys are so transparent, if you were true to your usual rhetoric on FR, you would be demanding Hagel ship them all out in boxcars.
In reality Hagel and the President are on the same page.

Example? Is that too much to expect from the resident expert on transparency and rhetoric?
And yes, I realize he and the president are on the same page, along with George Soros, MALDEF, AARP....and you!

(When conservatives break their principles they seem to become casual about breaking the law, too.)

All Hagel is doing is trying to play to the small minority of people who are obsessed with the issue of immigration. He knows that he is too much of a RINO to win the 2008 nomination so for the next four years we'll see him try to draw enough support from the fringes of the party.

You're transparent. Massive immigration isn't even doing a single thing to help your beloved country Mexico out --- it's actually making things worse there. People there are worse off --- not better, immigration is more desperate every year. You have no desire to see the Mexicans remain in Mexico and work for change their, demand improvements --- why? Maybe because you like your cheap dirt paid servants.

- Comparing the deportation of illegal immigrants back to their home countries to Nazis shipping Jews to concentration camps in boxcars is pretty inflammatory "rhetoric", imo.
I've seen the gay activist groups make similar statements against people who are opposed to same sex marriage.
