>>Same here. 70 million years is a loooong time. It's not like this bone was frozen in a glacier.<<

I'll go on record as one of the skeptics. Then again, maybe the "young earth" crowd was right. ;^>

:-) The part about having everyone show their hands to make sure they all had their digits sounded like an urban legend, though.

lol

Look, I don't buy into evolution too much, but 6000 years old?

That is a bit ridiculous.

The Bible describes creation. It does not give the date it started. And, furthermore, there are likely thousands of years of gaps in time that Scripture does not record. After Adam etc., no doubt there are perhaps even millions of years missing at points. It doesn't just go from Adam to Noah in a couple generations.

Hey...I got a friend who thinks maybe God made 70-million-year-old stuff 6,000 years ago. Like, it was already ancient the day it was made. Thoughts?

So, the genealogies in Matthew and Luke are wrong or misleading?

OH come on. The Bible is not intended to cover every aspect of time that ever occurred.

Have you seen the book, How to Keep Dinosaurs? It is hysterical and addresses all those concerns. I'm sorry I can't remember who wrote it, but is is REALLY FUNNY; written like a how to care for dogs, cats, horses, budgies, etc.
