His morale is dropping? That means he's finally getting in touch with reality.

This is just terrible. We need to send some liberals over to help his self esteem. (sarcasm)

Have you no Human compassion?

The man made some tragic mistakes,(probably through our fault) and then for no legitimate reason was brutally overthrown, captured, and imprisoned by that ruthless, warmonger George W. Bush, who as we all have been told, and will shortly be told again, is the real dictator and war criminal, and only did this to enrich his buddies in "Big Oil" etc.

"The ousted president has suffered a collapse in his morale because he understands the extent of the charges against him and because he's certain that he will stand tribal before an impartial court,"

I'd like to see this monster *suffer a collapse* in a freakin' car crusher.

(and NO...... that was not a sarcastic remark, just an honest one :)

"Saddam Hussein's morale has plummeted. . . ."

They should bring in a platoon of Marines or soldiers and let him escape.

I'll bet that would bring back some excitement into his life.

Well, that's always sad to read. But... um....

Remind me again: why is he still alive?

In the Left's world, low moral equates to "I'm sorry," and "I'm sorry" is enough to let him off the hook. "He's suffered enough," they would say with tears.

Sniff - sniff - where's my kleenex?

Meanwhile, in hell, the tridents are being sharpened in keen anticipation.

So if Saddam converted to Christianity and asked God for forgiveness, what would happen?

He will outlive most of us who are his age. UN, World Court, Amnesty International, Council of Churches, NYT, Newsweek, etc. etc. will spare no effort to save his neck. If he were running a TV repair shop in Baghdad, his life would be in jeopardy every day. Where he is, he's safe...and woe be the guard who handles his copy of Qu'ran without gloves!
