This family went after too many celebrities to think that Michael picked them. The jury didn't think the family was credible. And the jury looks fairly conservative to me.
I heard the post-grads were in education. Figures.
Ooooh! I remember that too! Basically, we have a white OJ jury right here, folks. Jury nullification. They were probably playing Twister for 2 weeks.
That's the first pic I've seen of them since I'm listening to this on KFI radio. They look like one of Frank Luntz's focus groups...and sound twice as stupid.

No Howlin. The ONLY reason I brought them up is because of the poster I was replying to that said that maybe MJ's M/O was picking up poor kids with bad backgrounds that no one would believe.
I was simply mentioning those two to dispute that claim.
For that juror to say that... wouldn't you think they'd have to believe he did it?

The jurors let their dislike of the mother overwhelm their common sense. I wonder if they'll read that book Jackson's former friend/insider/ published last week...in which he details molestation that went on for years, the grooming, how Jackson picked on the same physical types, etc.. All part of the predator pedophile pattern. Then to hear Diane Diamond of Court TV relate that Joe Jackson shoved or deliberately bumped the prosecutor in the hallway last week, threatening him. Well, I hope the jurors have trouble sleeping at night. This verdict was appalling, and Jackson has a free pass. No district attorney will waste millions trying him for anything, and his entourage has shown they can't control him. Now they won't have to even try.

This verdict is a slap in the face to parents. All parents. It says that there are people in this world (and the number is growing) that can and will victimize your children and get away with it.
I was molested in the 'tween years. Now we're dealing with it again in our family. I and my 'relative' have to deal with this forever. So I speak with some authority when I say that, in the tape, the child acted as a child who'd been molested. The presence of pornography (proven) and alcohol (also proven) only exascerbate the situation. I agree that the mother in this case seems to be a real gem (sarcasm) - but IMO any mother who would allow access to her child, and this type of behavior has to be sick.
I believe he is sick. I believe he is guilty.
And every time a molester walks off scott free, we're all molested all over again.

That's what I thought in the few minutes I could stomach watching the jurors pat themselves on the back. They looked and sounded like fools.
They also mentioned the mother looked at the jury constantly while she was testifying. They thought it was creepy. Made them uncomfortable.
I believe he still has some of the library left he owns, but I could be wrong.
