No, Grandma Whack Job Cook should be ashamed of herself for letting the pedophile go.

It's not the jurors' fault that there was no conviction, it is the District Attorney's fault.

Jurors Ray Hultman and Eleanor Cook, who both have pending book deals...
Gee, I wonder if this little announcement might increase the sales of those books...

Jurors Ray Hultman and Eleanor Cook, who both have pending book deals... If anyone needs to be ashamed of themselves it's these two who voted innocent when they now claim they believed all along that he was guilty. Must be time to start plugging their books.

So we should look forward to each juror blaming the other twelve for the acquittal. Will all their books and talkshow tours be handled by the same agent?

These idiots need to go away - they wore their 15 minutes out already.
They didn't care about justice, just their book deals and appearing on stupid daytime Tee-Vee shows.

Only one good thing came out of that trial - Michael Jackson went away.

Screw that jury be united crap. If the bum was guilty, you stick to your guns and say and vote him guilty. Great. Commit a murder, but you ain't gonna be convicted unless the jury is united. Good grief.

I guess a hung jury doesn't get you enough juice for a book deal that a (not)guilty verdict does. Otherwise these two would have held out.
I think the only serious deliberations going on with this jury were with their book/media agents.

This is how I read it...
"I really thought he was guilty. I still do. But, we were all getting tired, and it wasn't going to happen. So, I changed my vote, we acquitted him, and I was able to get out of there to get the ball rolling on my book/movie deals."
The woman is utterly despicable.

Spineless jurors who see the need to explain their gutless votes have never done much for me.
Tell the story to your grandchildren. Late at night. When you can't sleep. Because you know, in your heart of hearts, he was guilty. And you let him go free. POS.

"They can be as angry as they want to. They ought to be ashamed. They're the ones that let a pedophile go," responded Cook, 79." No, Lady, YOU'RE responsible for letting a pedophile go, you could have hung the jury and let him be tried again. You had no courage.
