is sponsoring a rally this September 24th for people who are passionate in their support for economic and political liberty and love for our republic.

Extreme views from the Left have seized a level of regard in the national discussion unequal to the merits of their contributions and blind to the disaster of their past prescriptions.

These organizations plan to "surround" the White House this September 24. Their statements will reflect the same anti-Bush and anti-Iraq War views expressed by DNC Chair Howard Dean and Senator Dick Durbin. As hateful and recklessly counter-factual much of that rhetoric is, honest patriots may share in at least the substance of the criticisms directed at President Bush's administration.

The people behind the initiative to "Surround the White House", however, address their criticism in broad swipes aimed at the foundations of ours and really any free society; opposition to free elections as mere "bourgeoisie democracy", nihilism towards the rule of law, obscure and anti-historical rhetoric attacking our nation's wealth while defending the tyranny socialism brought to much of the world in the 20th century, broad opposition to "militarism" and war dishonestly yet shamelessly juxtaposed with boosterism of guerilla warfare and the fringe ideologues who practice it and, yes, support for the "resistance" currently murdering Iraqi civilians and security personnel as well as U.S. troops.

The totality of the message offered by these groups is unambiguous; when they attack Bush as the "face" of "racism, imperialism and murder", they are attacking us as the beast's flesh and blood.

Our September 24th event will provide patriotic Americans an opportunity to rally with others in our nation's capitol to stand by the consent we confer to our nation under it's constitution, our hope and support for young and emerging democracies and our frustration with the hate and disunity promoted by the extreme Left.

WHO ARE WE? As of now, this event remains a joint initiative launched by the Chicago and Coastal New Jersey chapters of Protest Warrior. The organizers may be contacted through this website.

IS IT APPROPRIATE FOR CITIZENS TO "DEFEND" GOVENMENT INSTITUTIONS AGAINST OTHER CITIZENS' PROTESTS, REGARDLESS OF THEIR EXTREMITY? Asolutely. We are citizens of a free country whos government derives its powers from the people. The principals and convictions that lead us to select one candidate or another during an election season precede and persist beyond the election day ritual regardless of the election's outcome. Persistant vigilance is anticipated of groups whos voice has been heard and rejected by the majority. But assent or support of a government policy carries no less an obligation. Because we selected it, we have responsibility, in addition to our right, to stand by it and to defend it.

The assumption that rote opposition to one's government is the only legitimate basis for a citizen to act politically is the product of the lurid myths of a community of permanent dissenters. Their dissent from U.S. policy is so permanent because their rejection of U.S. institutions is so absolute. Many seek revolution, others seek a new constitution. Whether the tactics they support in the aim of transforming the United States away from what it is into something resembling their values are violent or peacefull, past and contemporary examples abound of why their's is the wrong course; Arafat's Palestine, Casto's Cuba, Vietnam.

You're new to FR and probably haven't read about it, but the DC Chapter of FR has had at least 30 events to peacefully counter the anti-war left since shortly after 911.

As sauropod said, we'll be there to counter the leftists on Sept 24.

As a background matter, it appears that Cindy Sheehan was a mildly anti-war anti-Bush person before her son's tragic death in combat. Code Pinkos and other leftists have exploited her grief to turn her into a full scale Bush-hater and war protestor. The Pinkos, as part of their latest activities, are at Walter Reed every Friday night to likewise try to "turn" war-wounded troops and their family members and then exploit them for the left's twisted propaganda purposes.

There have been sixteen FReeps of the Pinkos at Walter Reed so far. Amazingly, considering that the DC area is a liberal bastion filled with hardcore radical left-wing activists, FReepers have outnumbered them for ten straight weeks now.

For the tenth week in a row, FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond have outnumbered Code Pinkos at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center. In the liberal bastion of Washington, DC, a city filled with left wing activists and where about 90 percent of the people voted against George Bush, Code Pink cannot muster enough people to achieve the desired fraud and deceit at their Walter Reed protest.

Do you think that the Pinkos are sickos to have an anti-war demonstration at a hospital holding war-wounded? Then please help us by showing up next Friday night per details below. Stand up against the Pinkos who've endorsed the Iraqi resistance (see here and here), given money to the other side in Fallujah, and called our troops "killers." Then, the Pinkos demonstrate at the hospital and pretend that they support our troops.

On the heels of an historic rout of the Code Pinkos on July 1, FReepers continued to frustrate the hate-filled Pinkos and their evil scheme as police ordered a stunned and distraught DC Chief Pinko, Gael Murphy, back to her side. FReepers of the DC Chapter and FReepers from elsewhere achieved the decisive victory on Friday night, July 8.

This was the 13th FReep of the unlucky Code Pinkos as FReepers hinder the Pinkos' evil scheme: to fake friendship with soldiers in hopes of finding one or more who, vulnerable in their wounded state, can be manipulated into joining the anti-war movement and breaking faith with their fellow troops. Many of the most severely wounded troops from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan are taken to Walter Reed for continued treatment and rehabilitation. The Pinkos other goal is too demoralize those wounded troops.

For the forth time in just over 4 weeks, DC Chapter FReepers conducted a FReep of Code Pink's anti-war protest at the gate of Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where many of the most severely wounded troops from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan are taken for continued treatment and rehabilitation. The FReep of the leftists' obscene blood dance was on the Friday night, April 29.
