I just read the post describing more detail. And people want to send their children to public school!

Well, how do people know? This crap was going on for two years! Why didn't the teachers who weren't involved speak up a little earlier??
Kudos to the teachers who exposed this shameful mess.
May the teachers, who knew about this and did nothing get sued in civil court and lose everything they own. Advance those suits to the union leadership thugs, and so called leadership in the school system and board.
When people get dragged into civil courts and lose their savings, homes and lifestyle for turning their backs, this crap will become a very rare incidence.
A good example of why justice needs to be swift and sure. Too many people will do what they can get away with. Especially those who aren't really convinced that there is a Witness who sees everything, and that universal justice is inerrant.

THIS is the biggest problem today!! Parents, do not believe this!! We cannot trust teachers or administrators. Gone are the days when we could. Leno told a joke on last night about this very thing. The latest story of a teacher having sex with male students, which he ended with "she's out!! Not out of the teachers union, but of the lesbian organization, "you're Out!!" I found the joke rather ironic. And more than a bit of truth in it. It has become assumed that teachers belong to these activist organizations.

I know very little about Edmund Burke, other than that he was a philosopher type living in England whose writings influenced many of the founders of this country. I ought to try to find some of his writings and attempt to read them. I've only seen a few quotations here and there. He must have been a very wise man.

Well Mayor Manhood runs a large city, not the schools. Other than that, everything is under criminal investigation. He cannot comment further because he is too busy engaging in the pay-to-play environment that he so criticizes. Just look at the Toledo Blade articles earlier this week.
Could you imagine a response from Bill Moss on this issue?
It would be better than anything from Mayor Manhood.
That part of the Southwest side is a dump. If you're within three miles of Sullivant Ave., you're in the wrong part of town. Sad but true.
I miss Bill. Couldn't always agree with him, but I think he was honest.

Remember, this is the same Columbus that is anti-gun--the NRA pulled their national Convention out several months ago because of the mayor and city council coming down on legal gunowners with new legislation--this should be no surprise to Freepers who will find almost any major city will probably have 'rats' in charge of the schools and city hall
Have not lived in Holly Hill for years. At the time I lived almost to Clime Rd. The Manor Apts. always made me nervous. They still do! Closer to Hilliard now. Columbus in general is becoming one huge crime infested city IMO.
